The main task of an air purifier is to remove pollutants from indoor air. It should not cause secondary contamination while performing the main work.
Molekule Air Mini uses a nanoparticle-coated PECO filter that is activated by ultraviolet (UV-A) light to oxidize air pollutants. Berkeley Labs has shown that Molekule air purifiers can effectively reduce common indoor air pollutants without producing ozone or other by-products, and also meet CARB standards.
The Molekule Air Mini Filter
Pre-filter: The air is drawn in through the pre-filter. This is a medium-sized filter, similar to a car air filter. It can be called a “HEPA type”, meaning that it looks and behaves like real HEPA, but does not achieve the 99.97% filtration rate required to mark it as real HEPA.
Many air purifiers, such as the cheap Holmes air purifiers, use such filter as the main filter, not a pre-filter. the Molekule pre-filter can collect dust and similar debris well.
Molekule main filter: This is where PECO or photo oxidation takes place.
This filter uses proprietary technology that is not fully explained in any of the company’s texts or videos. A chemical reacts when light activates a nanoparticle-coated filter to break down harmful contaminants into its most basic molecular components, Molekule noted. Blue light is at the top of the Molekule that activates the photo electrochemical process.
The filter has been independently tested by several certified testing agencies. The results show that it is effective in:
- Eliminates mold spores and similar allergens, including pollen
- Decompose VOCs into harmless molecules such as carbon dioxide, water and trace elements.
Room Size Rating for Molekule Air Mini Air Purifier
The Air Mini is small in size but has an excellent filtration capacity and can cover up to 250 square feet of space and is ideal for bedrooms or home offices. Use the touch screen interface or the Molekule app to check particle or filter status, and choose one of five fan speeds that best suit your purification needs.
Does Molekule Air Purifier Really Work?
Yes. PECO technology tests clearly show that this method is effective. How it breaks down volatile organic compounds into harmless substances had the deepest impact on us.
Does Molekule Help with Allergies?
Yeah. Molekule’s proprietary technology effectively eliminates allergens that pass through the device’s filter.
Due to the prevalence of dirty air indoors, this product has many benefits for general health and people with serious asthma or allergies. Its clean and high-tech design has made it an attractive addition to your home decoration.
What Customers Say?
“My husband suffers from asthma and allergies, so it ‘s important to clean the air as much as possible. The fan on our other air purifier is broken, so we have to replace it. We used it in the master bedroom. For about 3 weeks we realized that the air quality in the room is very different compared with the air we had other purifiers running in it .I can move it easily if necessary. It is very quiet.”
